Farmington Festival Days

Sunday we left the girls and Scott at the Jensens and brought Joe home. We enjoyed visiting before heading to bed. Then Monday Rob took Joe to the airport super early and then we took a load to the dump and shopped that night before having a Jetta-only party where we watched Wall-E and ate fun food and played Headbandz. It was delightful. She loved our attention and we had a lot of fun just being together.

Tuesday Cambria came played all day.

Thursday I went to a nice presentation by my friend on Chinese and Japanese culture in Mormonism. It was fascinating, including the guilt some older members feel.

Friday the kids came home from a week playing at Grandma's. I'll put pictures up when I get them.

Saturday was Farmington Festival Days. It began with Sophie, Cecily, and Rob running the 5k. They all did great and the vanilla syrup was amazing. Mar also ran and got 1st place in his age group. Then back to get the kids to meet backat the parade corner right at the end. Sue and the boys met us there, then Spencer turned into the pink gorilla. It was great fun except Scott didn't feel great.

We went back home for cleaning and then Sophie and Cecily went swimming with Sue and the younger boys and then we all went to Sue's (cept Marri, who was babysitting) for fireworks. It was delightful.
Sunday Tom and Mel and the kids came to stay. Mar and the boys and Kate came over as well. Kate stayed for a sleepover and they stayed up late giggling on the trampoline watching Sixth Sense, yay!
