We had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend, full of food, family and fun! First off, on Thanksgiving eve, the kids were off, so they helped me prep, and let me go on a lunch in Salt Lake with some friends in town:
Thanksgiving dawned beautifully, although unfortunately, Rob was sick, but we pressed on, getting everything ready for when Seth and Brit and family arrived, who then also helped us finish. It all turned out great. We took some lovely family pictures, played the Thanksgiving match game, and readied to eat. The food was delicious, the company lovely, and decorations beautiful. I especially loved my gold leaves and brown paper bag Grat-egories placemats.
After dinner we visited, the kids played, Rob napped, we headed to the park and played frisbee. It was so nice. Then games and more visiting and the kids playing and playing and playing. Jetta was delighted to be with Shaely in their Rapunzel dresses from Grandma Warburton. Then Brit helped the kids make turkey puppets and then put on a puppet show. It was so fun.
Saturday we decided to keep the cousin fun going so set out with Sue, Steven, Jared, and Isaac to see Frozen. The kids were so excited, they've wanted to go for a long time. And it didn't disappoint. We biked over there and it was such great weather. Afterwards we checked out It'Sugar and then got "frozen" gelatos at Harmons. Mmm! It was such a fun afternoon! Rob ended up taking a three-hour nap while we were gone, so we finished the night with a late-night movie with Mar. It was awesome.
Finally, we decided we hadn't had enough of princess movies, so watched Sleeping Beauty Sunday night, complete with Cecily making movie tickets and snack tickets.
