A mid-November week

So Rob stayed home Monday for a dentist appointment and to work on his paper, so we snuck away for a quick lunch date at Station Park with our favorite youngest child. I may have also checked out the Nordstrom Rack.

Tuesday night I had a RS Christmas activity that turned out really fun. Plus Sophie and Jetta joined me since the Activity Girls were babysitting the kids and Jetta wanted to be babysat. She was way cute and the Activity Girls did such a great job entertaining and doing crafts with the kids:

Wednesday, the kids had SEP conferences, so they were out every day early (well, not Marri) which was fun for the most part. All three had amazing reports. I'm glad they are doing so well in school, especially in this new school. That night, Robin and Eleanor stopped for dinner and a mini-FHE of sorts to talk about baptism with Cecily. It was really nice.

Thursday more of us had dentist appointments to get sealents (Scott and Sophie) and a cavity filled (Cecily) and a tooth filed a bit (me). Cecily did great. Jetta started fevering there but we still had a lot shopping to finish, so we did.

Friday was probably Scott's favorite day as it was Dad's and donuts. The kids made up posters for their dads and Scott thinks his dad is so nice, especially when he plays xbox with him. It made Rob laugh.

Then that night we headed to Sue's church to surprise John for his 14th birthday party. The kids had so much fun running around the church and eating and running some more with their cousins. John was delighted with his pens.

Saturday we took it easy, we have recently introduced both Star Trek, Dr. Who to the kids, so watched some of those together, and cleaning and working. That night, Sophie lost her last tooth, so as a special surprise, the tooth fairy brought her a new dress and a cute frame:

Sunday, Jetta stayed home with Cecily and Rob since she was coughing quite a bit. Cecily had so much fun entertaining her all morning. Rob said it was one of the most sweetest things he has ever seen:

We needed to finish up the Halloween candy so dumped it all into monster cookies! The kids enjoyed breaking up all the chocolate and we will shortly be enjoying the cookies.
