Jetta's birthday week

Besides Jetta's actual birthday, which was fun, we celebrated Jetta through much of this week. I tried capturing a bit of my 2-year-old before she turned to a 3-year-old:

And mom came over Thursday night to present her with Ashley's kitty and cad her Rapunzel dress that she really doesn't like to take off:

 
Saturday, I biked Scott and Jetta over to Lagoon with a picnic to let Jetta ride some of her favorite rides and pick out a toy. She loved it even though it was very rainy for some of the time. I caught some great photos, including one where she is completely cross-eyed.

Saturday night, Robin and Eleanor stopped and gave Jetta a little present, a cup, a cow, and a bracelet, which she loved:

We also snuck in some other non-Jetta-related fun this week including the fact that Savanna came over Saturday and Marri, Sophie, and Cecily biked with Savanna to get Steven and Jared, who then biked in the pouring rain back to our house, needless to say, it was an adventure, but no photos. Rob and I also went to an amazing lecture on women's healing and sacrament preparation the late 1800s and early 1900s put on by the church. Rob and I also snuck away for a bike date Saturday night to the Station Park and discovered an entire new wing of it (the fountain! The cupcakes! The sushi!) It was delightful.

We also got a new nephew this week: David Vaughn Warburton, born just hours before Jetta' birthday on Sept 12:

Sunday night we met with Mar and the boys at the park where the kids biked around, did plays, and got lost in the surrounding forest:

And this was hands down my favorite photo of the week. Jetta decided to "help" me with cleaning and this princess is not afraid of doing a little bit of dirty work...
