Jetta's turns 3!

After going to bed at midnight the night before, it wasn't surprising that Jetta, who migrated to the floor somehow, didn't want to wake up as we came in singing with presents. But after about five minutes we got her excited. She opened her clothes, her Ariel puzzle, her fairy book, and some princess makeup, which was the hit of the morning.

She was excited for her birthday breakfast of strawberry toaster waffles, strawberry toaster pastries and punch.

Then we shuffled the kids off to school and headed out shopping, where Jetta fell in love with a Rapunzel balloon, that we of course, had to get. We got home, unloaded, made her cake, and then I set out to pamper my little princess and get ready for the day.

Once she was ready, it was time for the annual birthday photo shoot. She had a lot of fun.
One of the blessings of living here is the fact that our neighbors straight north have kids my kids ages, including a little girl Jetta's age named Abby. So we invited her over for a lunch playdate to McDonald's, which turned out to be so fun. These two little 3-year-olds were so cute and enjoyed playing and eating and giggling. And Abby gave Jetta a cute Cinderella doll.
We grabbed the kids from school, played with Playdoh that Jetta got at Walmart, finished the cake and headed to the library. Rob came home and we sang again, and Jetta blew out her candles before opening her presents: a tangled movie, tangled gifts set, baby doll.
Amanda and Alaina came over for dinner, which Jetta picked as homemade pizza, mac n cheese and pudding. Alaina gave her a princess book and stuffed animal. Then we cut open the cake (strawberry and strawberry frosting) and ice cream (playdoh). Then we finished the night watching Tangled while playing Tangled and then Alaina stayed for a sleepover, which Jetta was so excited about. Yay.
Happy Birthday sweet girl!

Remember how clean it was this morning before the birthday bomb hit? Yeah, me neither.
