Magnificent Midwest Museum Trip: Day 7: St. Louis & Springfield

We began the day with a wonderful sendoff breakfast courtesy of the Welch family. Then off to the zoo, the St. Louis zoo, which with only a few hours, we were able to hit the butterflies (my favorite), the hippos (we had to go there since that was Cecily's only memory of going last time with Jake and Kim was the hippo tank), the snakes (Scott's favorite), the foxes (Sophie's favorite), the red panda (Marri's favorite) and the monkeys (Rob's favorite). Then up to springfield to learn about and pay respects to Abraham Lincoln. The kids were so impressed with the "Ghosts of the Archives" show. Such a great museum. We also went up to the muFinally we got a bit of time to swim and relax in the hotel for this last night of our magnificent Midwest museum trip.
