We went to listen to Uncle Mar at the Library Hero series. He was, of course, heroic:
We went to LagoonABeach:
We (well Jetta) went to a birthday party:
We watched Paddington Friday night:
We (well Cecily) mowed the lawn for Rob:
Who came home from Lincoln on Saturday.
But the best part of the week was when we were all back together to celebrate Father's Day. We began with monkey bread and egg mcmuffins to wake up Rob with his breakfast and presents, which were numerous. Lots of books, two bike gear things, lots of kitchenware (spatulas, mainly) 7 games, and cute homemade gifts from the kids. I loved Cecily's list:
We then went right to church (where Rob got a new calling, Gospel Doctrine Teacher) and then ate lunch of apricot chicken over rice and homemade bread. Then some quiet time before Mar and the boys came for games and visiting. Then we tried out some of Rob's games (we really liked Spy) and finished with a dinner of vegetable lasagna and cheesy biscuits and blueberry cheesecake.
Overall a lovely day celebrating a lovely (And dainty!) father.
