First week of October

Brought parties, Lagoon, and conference, but I'm getting ahead of myself, first I had to pass out my souvenirs for the kids and Rob, they loved it. We spent the entirety of FHE going through my pictures and handing out souvenirs

It was fun. I got the kids stuffed animal magnets, chocolates, fans, glass animals, and a family game: Ticket to Ride: Europe in German because I had been riding all over Europe. I got Rob some walking sticks.

And then it was just good to be home and catch up on life, and enjoy working and being a mom again.

Both Cecily and Scott had field trips on Thursday, with Scott going to the zoo.
And Rob, who is taking off most of the month to prepare for his comps, stayed home Friday and we ended up having a fun afternoon where Sophie had a birthday party, and Marri had a lagoon party with friends and then we all went to lagoon for the first time and stayed for a few hours while my bike was fixed and had so much fun!
Then once we got home, Mar and the younger boys came over to play and watch a movie and Daniel and Ellen also came in late. The wild rumpus continued into Saturday since it was both conference and Mar's birthday and we all watched conference while eating cinnamon rolls and ice cream and pies and playing games and talking and laughing. It was quite awesome:

Sunday was quieter, with just Daniel and Ellen staying over, but we had more ice cream for the Sunday afternoon session and then some friends came over to talk and eat my yummy french onion soup, and Rob and I even got a hike in in the beautiful fall weather:

All in all, a nice week home.
