End of Summer Treasure Hunt/First Day of School

So in the midst of moving to Farmington, we got the kids registered for school(s) and made some time to do our end of summer hunt tradition.

We began with taking the kids to Lagoon, which for the first time we went while living in the actual town. It was fun. Then we tried a new hamburger place and it was yummy. Then over to Ross for a few more house items, including some bedding for the girls, they were pretty excited.

And with that, we finished. You should have heard my rhymes, something about "we've been moving, and working hard and are almost done, so I think it's time for some fun." Yeah good times.

Then Monday morning came all too soon and the backpack fairy brought little monkey clippies and a monster pencil case for Scott. The kids were all pretty nervous, but they got ready in time and ended up having really quite good first days at their respective schools. Marri is at Centerville Junior High and Sophie, Cecily, Scott are all at Reading Elementary. A good day overall.
